Although a long running and popular show, episodes of this series are always marginal at best. This season has been more watchable with tighter scripts (less Penelope rambling and a lot fewer babygirls) and better editing. Then there is this episode, which is a complete ripoff of “Prisoners” with Hugh Jackman. Add to that the deep dive back in to agents making inane and ridiculous statements like responding to someone confessing to a 15 year old homicide with *it was self defense* – well, it doesn’t look good for the rest of the season.
